MANILA — As she paid tribute to her husband Arthur Solinap, whom she called the “greatest gift” from God and a respectable family guy, Rochelle Pangilinan, the leader of the veteran female group SexBomb, broke down in emotions.

Shiloh Jayne is the daughter of Pangilinan and Solinap.

“Siya ang greatest gift sa akin ni God. Wala akong Shiloh kung wala siya. And siguro hindi ako ganito kaganda. ‘Yung buhay namin ni Art talaga ito ‘yung pangarap kong buhay. Hindi ganoon kayaman, simpleng buhay, pero masaya. Si God talaga ibang klase ang ibinibigay niya sa akin at ‘yun ay sapat na sapat,” Pangilinan said in an interview that was uploaded on the broadcaster’s YouTube channel on Thursday.

Pangilinan began to get emotional as she continued, “And napaka-responsible ng asawa ko. Sa school, busy ako ngayon siya ang sundo at hatid. Siya nag-aayos ng buhok ng anak ko. Siya nagpapaligo, siya lahat.”

Even though her husband is an actor, she said that she gets tired from work and that he is always there to assist them by taking on obligations, particularly for their daughter.

The actress expressed how grateful she felt to God for Solinap.

After seven years of relationship, Pangilinan and Solinap became engaged in 2016. In Tagaytay City, they were married in 2017. In February 2019, the couple welcomed Shiloh into the world.

After their spectacular concerts in December of last year, SexBomb Girls will get back together for a three-night show next month.

Friends from the entertainment industry and fellow SexBomb members also expressed their sympathy and support, leaving messages praising Arthur’s kindness and Rochelle’s strength.

Despite the pain, Rochelle said she is slowly learning how to move forward, guided by her husband’s memory.

She ended her tribute with a simple but powerful message: “I love you always. Thank you for the life we built together.”
