MANILA — Former Hashtag member Bugoy Cariño admitted that he first regretted being a father at a young age, but he quickly came to the conclusion that “everything happens for a reason.”
The actor from “Breaking the Silence” stated that he views Scarlet, his seven-year-old daughter with volleyball player EJ Laure, as a blessing.
He said that becoming a father pushed him to grow as a person and taught him a lot.

“Everything I do now, I think about my child,” Bugoy said. “My priorities changed. I’m more careful with my decisions, and I want to build a future that my family can be proud of.”
