Drew Arellano discusses his journey as a father of five

Drew Arellano spoke candidly about his life as a father of five during a recent interview with Bernadette Sembrano.

The television host stated that having five children was something he and his wife, Iya Villania, did not expected.

“Five children, you know what it’s funny that we never really expected that we would have five kids,” he admitted. “We love kids, don’t get me wrong. But the last two, hindi planado yan. Kaya nagpa-snip-snip (vasectomy) na tayo di ba? Pero what a blessing. What a blessing. Super. Lalo na nakikita namin growing up, and how when they wake up meron na silang kalaro,” he said.

Drew described each of his children as follows: “Each kid will have a different personality. Primo the eldest, 9 years old, ano yan he is so into dancing now. G-Force. He is the overthinker but he is such a follower.”

When asked if he has any concerns about raising children in today’s challenging world, Drew responded he remained optimistic.

Drew also stated that they ensure that their children are physically active and exposed to a variety of sports and outdoor activities.

Despite his busy schedule as a TV host for travel and lifestyle programs, Drew emphasizes the importance of prioritizing family. He shared how he manages to balance work commitments with quality time at home.
