During a narcotics buy-bust operation that took place on May 31 along Burgos Street in Brgy. 10, Bacolod City, the police detained an unemployed man and confiscated shabu with a street value of P2.7 million. The operation took place on Wednesday.

Jojo Capilayo, also known as “Boy Tattoo,” was identified as the culprit. He was found to be 21 years old and a resident of Purok Lampiron in Brgy. 2 in the city of Bacolod.
The suspect’s stash of shabu was valued at P2.7 million, and the police were able to seize it.
A crumpled brown paper pouch, three fine plastic wrappers, and one translucent plastic pouch containing drug paraphernalia were also discovered. In addition, the authorities discovered thirty-seven sachets of heat-sealed transparent plastic containing the suspected white crystalline substance, five pieces of transparent plastic sachets with suspected shabu, two pieces of transparent knot-tied plastic bags, one crumpled brown paper pouch, and one translucent plastic pouch.
They also discovered an eco bag with the brand name “The Box,” an Android cellular phone, a gray Honda Beat Scooter with no relevant documents, and several other non-drug items.
The suspect has been sent to Police Station 2 and is going to be charged with possessing illegal drugs.
