The March 2023 Licensure Exam for Teachers (LET) or teachers board exam results, the official list of passers, topnotchers (top 10), top performing schools and performance of schools, for Elementary and Secondary levels, will be available here as the expected released on May 5-19 or in 30-40 working days after the exam.

PRC administered the first regular LET board exam this year on Sunday, March 19, 2023, in at least 37 testing centers nationwide. Testing centers are in Manila, Baguio, Bohol, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Dumaguete, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.

Meanwhile, PRC designated additional test centers to accommodate the influx of examinees taking the teachers’ board exam and to avoid unnecessary distant travel and additional expenses on the part of hopefuls: Antique, Bacolod, Bayambang, Calapan, Catanduanes, Cauayan, Digos, General Santos, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, Kidapawan, Laguna, Marinduque, Masbate, Mati, Occidental Mindoro, Palawan, Romblon, and Tagum.

The Board for Professional Teachers is composed of Dr. Rosita L. Navarro, Chairman; Dr. Paz I. Lucido, Vice Chairman; Dr. Paraluman R. Giron and Dr. Nora M. Uy, Members.

REGISTRATION AND OATHTAKING

The schedule for the issuance of a Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration for Elementary and Secondary level exams will be announced once results are out online.

The requirements for the issuance of a Certificate of Registration and Professional Identification Card (ID) are the following:

  • Notice of Admission (for identification only);
  • downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal;
  • two pieces passport size pictures (colored with white background and complete nametag);
  • two sets of documentary stamps;
  • 1 piece short brown envelope.

PRC said that successful examinees should PERSONALLY register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

The date of the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the said examinations WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER.

Exam Coverage:

March 2023 LET covered two (2) parts for Elementary – General Education (40%) and Professional Education (60%) and three (3) parts for Secondary – General Education (20%), Professional Education (40%), and Specialization (40%).

The test covered the major areas of General Education (English, Filipino, Mathematics, Science and Social Sciences), Professional Education (teaching profession, social dimensions of education, principles of teaching, education technology, curriculum development, facilitating learning, child and adolescent development, assessment of student learning, developmental reading, field study and practice teaching). The 8 specializations for Secondary Teacher with exam coverage depends on the chosen course: English, Filipino, Science, Mathematics, Social Studies, Values Education, MAPEH and TLTVE (Technology Livelihood, Tech-Voc Education.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Only Mathematics (under Specialization subject) was allowed to use the calculator in conjunction with specific features. The modification is pursuant to Resolution No. 25, series of 2019 issued by the Board for Professional Teachers.
