Rowena Guanzon, commissioner of the Commission on Elections (Comelec), has challenged Commissioner Aimee Ferolino, who is handling the disqualification case of presidential candidate Bongbong Marcos and is also the poll body’s speaker, to resign with her now that the poll body is engaged in disagreement.

“I challenge Comm Ferrolino, let us resign together [from the Comelec] before [February] 3 since the integrity of the @COMELEC is now in question,” Guanzon stated in a tweet on Monday.
