The Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) will distribute P100 million to 10,000 members to assist cover their kin’s college educational expenses for the Academic Year 2021-2022.

President and General Manager Rolando Ledesma Macasaet announced in a statement that out of 15,770 qualified applicants, they chose 10,000 grantees who had family members in serious need of educational support.

Each college student would get P10,000 under the GSIS Educational Subsidy Program (GESP).

North Luzon had 1,994 grantees (19.94 percent); he NCR has 1,581 grantees (15.81 percent); South Luzon has 2,093 grantees (20.93 percent); Visayas has 2,078 grantees (20.78 percent); and Mindanao got 2,254 grantees (20.78 percent) (22.54 percent ).

Grantees will get their cash aid after submitting to GSIS the following requirements: a legally completed and certified GESP agreement, the Information Sheet with two copies of the student’s most recent 2×2 ID photos, and a Land Bank of the Philippines account number.
