The National Capital Region Police Office said on Wednesday that more over P27 million in illegal drugs were confiscated in separate operations in Caloocan, Makati, and Paranaque City.

Janesa Cabardo Canoy, 25, was detained in Caloocan during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Bagong Silang.

Authorities seized approximately two kilos of illegal drugs, a red plastic bag containing a Chinese tea bag, a sky blue plastic bag containing a Chinese tea bag further containing substance suspected to be shabu, 15 bundles of Boodle money with two pieces genuine P1,000 bills, a brown sling bag, a light brown pouch containing identification cards, and a black smartphone with an estimated worth of P13.6 million.

The suspect remains in custody, and authorities are investigating into the allegations.
