Some of Kim Min-Kyung‘s popular works include Someone Behind You, Where The Truth Lies, Microhabitat, Tazza, The Moon Embracing The Sun and Flowers Of The Prison. DaHong Entertainment confirmed the news on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 “Kim Min-kyung passed away yesterday (August 16).”

passed away in a Seoul hospital and her funeral is scheduled for Wednesday, August 18, 2021. Kim Min-kyung acting debut in theater is on 1979 and received the Best Newcomer Award in 1981 at the Korean Theater Festival.

Films of Kim Min-Kyung topped bill are Evil Twin, Where The Truth Lies as well as Hello Stranger. She also was a household name thanks to several roles in popular dramas such as The Moon Embracing The Sun, When The Camellia Blooms, Diary Of A Prosecutor and more.

The cause of her death is yet to be announced.

Kim had also starred in the crime film Pipeline, which hit theaters in June 2021.
