Tomorrow, July 13, Johnny “Mr. M” Manahan will be officially introduced as the new Kapuso. Mr. M will serve as the consultant of GMA Artist Center, the talent management arm of the Kapuso network. Mr. M is now viral on social media such as Twitter and Facebook.

Manahan or Mr. M. the founder and former chairman emeritus of Star Magic, the talent management arm of ABS-CBN that has made many Kapamilya Network artists famous such as Piolo Pascual, Claudine Barretto, John Lloyd Cruz, Bea Alonzo, and many more.

According to GMA Network social media posts, “A Pillar in Philippine Entertainment is Making a Move. Find out tomorrow!”

Mariole is the successor of Mr. M as head of Star Magic. He retired in December 2020, and Lauren Dyogi replaced him in his previous position.

According to investopedia.com, “A non-compete agreement is a legal agreement or clause in a contract specifying that an employee must not enter into competition with an employer after the employment period is over. These agreements also prohibit the employee from revealing proprietary information or secrets to any other parties during or after employment.”
