The post of a student who would only take his food delivery outside his house in Quezon City went viral on social media but was still arrested by guards for allegedly violating the curfew.
LJ Cabangis went live on Facebook past 10 pm after he was picked up, where he detailed what the authorities did to him.
In his Facebook post, “HINULI AKO KINUHA KO LANG YUNG GRABFOOD KO.”
“Ito hinuli ako ah. Nandon lang ako sa tapat ng bahay ko kinuha ko lang yung Grabfood,” said LJ Cabangis.
The guards insisted that they not leave the house until 6 pm in accordance with the enhanced community quarantine at NCR.
“Malayo po siya sa bahay… Nakita po namin siya pagbaba ng patrol namin bigla siyang nawala, sabi niya bahay namin ito,” said Carlito Miniano, guard of Barangay Apolonio Samson.
Cabangis replied, he only walked a little because the delivery rider could not see him.
