Kai Sotto is going to play for the Philippines in the next FIBA Asia Cup window this coming February. The G League bubble in Orlando is scheduled to tip-off on Feb. 8 while the FIBA Asia Cup window is slated from Feb. 18-22 in Clark, Philippines.

Kai Sotto Instagram account post, “I’m heading home soon. Sobrang excited ako para mabigyan ng opportunity na makapaglaro sa Gilas ngayong February window,” he said in an Instagram video.”

“Nagpapasalamat ako sa lahat ng sumusuporta at naniniwala sa aking pangarap na makapaglaro para sa bayan, at sa tamang panahon, sa NBA. I’m very blessed to have many supporters, and I promise, I won’t let you down.”

Sotto is currently training with NBA G League select team Ignite.
