The family of parol maker Maximino Simon, aka Tatay Lakay Junior bursts into tears after the customer canceled its order worth P100, 000. A Facebook user named Arlene Simon posted a video with a caption of “Dina kukunin yan ng buyer sayang 100k lahat ng bayad yan paano na ako baon nanaman ako sa utang”

Arlene Simon is the wife of Maximino who disappointed after a heartless customer canceled its order worth 100, 000 plus. Maximino spend over P100, 000 for the Parol project but the customer canceled it.

The family of parol maker Maximino Simon, aka Tatay Lakay Junior, took to social media to thank Manila Mayor Isko Moreno after he purchased all of his parols on Friday.

On Wednesday, Simon shared on social media that the buyer of his 700 pieces of parols, worth P50,000, backed out.

“Diko mapigilan umiyak,” he said in a Facebook post. After the post went viral, private individuals offered to buy the handmade parols and donate money to Maximino.
