Four years ago, Kris Aquino has ended her morning talk show Kris TV. Recently, it was revealed that the actress-TV host is set to have a comeback with a new television program “Love Life with Kris.”

“Hindi ako tatakbo for anything in 2022.” she began when she was asked about whether her new TV program is her starting point in running as senator or mayor.

“I’m sorry, Catholic Church, please don’t get mad at me…”

“For one day, I want to be President-–on the day na ira-ratify na magkakaroon ng divorce sa Philippines. Para pirmahan.

“My reason is simple—because you wouldn’t be annulled in the church. Your church marriage, it’s a different process.

“But, I believe that going through an annulment is a very difficult process, and it is expensive.

“I believe that women and men should have equal rights about this.”

She also added that she would prioritize the approval of divorce than the same-sex marriage.

“Uhm, I apologize sa mga LGBT, kasi alam kong malayung-malayo pa ang kailangan nating lakbayin bago magkaroon ng same-sex marriage.

“Pero ang divorce—sa sagot kong ‘yan, ha, alam niyo na! Hindi ako tatakbo for anything in 2022.

“Pero ayoko nang pagdaanan ever again ng kahit na sino man yung proseso ng pagpapa-annul.

Looking back, Kris Aquino was married to the basketball star James Yap  and was annulled in the year 2012.

“Kasi, pwede naman talaga ang divorce. And separation naman talaga ‘yan, e, of church and state.” she said.

Kris released a teaser for her upcoming television program “Love Life with Kris.”
