Playing online games is one of the most common hobby of teenagers nowadays. It is also very popular among children, and young adults. During the quarantine, many have tried playing online games while staying at home.
Baguio City Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) has introduced new activity for the inmates. They conducted their first E-games ‘DOTA’ tournament.
A Facebook page “95.7 Brigada News FM Koronadal” posted few photos of the first DOTA tournament at BJMP.
“LOOK| E-Sports : Nagasagawa ang Baguio City Jail Management and Penology ng kauna-unahang E-games tournament para sa kanilang mga inmates,” the page wrote in the captions.
The inmates seemed to be enjoying their new activity as this also gained a lot of reactions from the netizens. Here are some of the comments:
The jail was suppose to be a rehabilitation for those people who committed crimes and not for suffering.
Ok na din kasi common sports sa mga jail is basketball. Di naman lahat physically fit or interested sa basketball. At least there’s a new activity for them…
Kung turuan lahat ng inmate na maging programmer potek baka umunlad ang pilipinas. Siguradong andami nilang ideas sa loob ng kulungan.
Kahit n sa gensan ako nahuli mag request ako na sa baquio ako ikulong.
Tapos Pag nagka pikunan, mag sasaksakan. O kaya, Kung sino mag champion laya na.
