Alfredo Corneji Jr or commonly known as “Babajie” had passed away on Monday, May 4 at 3:18 pm. He was taken to San Lazaro Hospital in Manila because of pneumonia. He is 35 years old.

It was confirmed by his cousin, Cid Cornejo, on Facebook. “Maaga pa, bata ka pa, alam mo Kuya na mahal na mahal kita,”

He is known to have appeared on a gag show in GMA-7 “Bubble Gang” and was featured in Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho. He is famous for having a sharp chin.

Babajie will not be cremated instead, he will be buried on his hometown in Malibay, Pasay City. He told her mother, Minda Cornejo, beforehand that when he dies, he wanted to wear feminine clothing for his burial and fill up the two jars with flowers.

Babajie was confined since April 25 and he was attended by his mother. He will be buried in Sgt. Mariano Cemetery in Pasay City.
