The Supreme Court (SC) announces official results of November 2019 bar exam sometime in April 29, 2020. The full list of passers with S-T-U surname is available on this page as announced online.

The results of the 2019 Bar Examinations will be uploaded on the Supreme Court website on April 29, 2020, after the En Banc Session.

In light of the government’s call for social distancing to prevent the spread of COVID-19, everyone is advised to stay in their respective homes and check the results online. No Visitors shall be allowed to enter the Supreme Court compound on the said date and the list of passers will not be displayed on the premises. (Source Supreme Court)

The examinable subjects are Political Law and Public International Law (15%), Labor and Social Legislation (10%), Civil Law (15%), Taxation (10%), Mercantile Law (15%), Criminal Law (10%), Remedial Law (20%) and Legal and Judicial Ethics (5%).

The type of examination given by the administration is a full essay from which the examinees are required to answer in full essay writings within the scope of one (1) month duration exam time. The Bar Exam is considered the hardest examination ever taken in the country.

MECHANICS OF CHECKING

For the information of everyone, the checking of the Bar Exam is done manually by the Office of Confidant. Few days prior to the official announcement and publication of result the SC will be conducting a special “en banc” session to decode the Bar Exam results. The decoding process is done by way of opening sealed envelopes containing the names of successful examinees.
