And now, she proves herself again as she won the best actress award in an international film festival. She beats the other nominees for her performance in the thriller film entitled “Untrue”.

According to Cristine, this is her first time to win an international award since she started in showbiz.
Cristine won the highly-coveted award during the 40th edition of Fantasporto International Film Festival (FPIFF). She proves herself again and to her fans that she’s one of the best actresses as she receives the best actress award at a prestigious international film festival in Portugal.
Through an Instagram post, Viva Artist Agency congratulated the 31-year-old actress for another great achievement through an Instagram post.
“Congratulations to our very own, Cristine Reyes for winning the ‘BEST ACTRESS’ award at the recent ‘OPORTO INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL’ in her portrayal of MARA in the film UNTRUE!”

Cristine was not the first Filipino showbiz personality who brought home an award from the said competition. Ian Veneracion won the best actor in 2018 while Barbie Forteza was hailed best actress in 2016.
