2 ‘PUI’ in Negros Oriental, Negative Results for COVID-19

Two remaining patients under investigation (PUI) in Negros Oriental were negative for coronavirus disease (COVID-19). According to the ABS-CBN report, the two patients were Belgian and Filipina from Wuhan, China and visited Bohol and Siquijor before heading to Dumaguete City.

The provincial spokesperson stated that the two patients remain in the hospital because their blood pressure is still being monitored. Meanwhile, the quarantine period of four remaining PUI in the province has also ended.

There are no remaining PUI and PUM in the whole of Negros Oriental. Recently, the coronavirus outbreak in mainland China reached at least 1,868 with 72,436 infections confirmed, according to health officials.
