On Sunday, August 28, 2016 is The 3rd Voice Kids grand champion.  Among the finalists is Joshua Oliveros of Familea won the grand prize of P2 million and house and lot.  He was coached by Lea Salonga.  Oliveros came from Antique and he wants to save the money he won for his family.

He is the youngest of the five siblings and they were all still studying. Moving to Manila soon is one of their plans after the victory of Joshua.

Joshua in an interview said that he was speechless when his name was announced as the grand champion.  He was able to kneel down of his overwhelming happiness because he will receive the house and lot, money plus a trophy that could help his family.

Joshua’s family immediately goes to the stage after the announcement of winners. His mother admires Lea for being a good coach and excellent in singing profession and was grateful to Lea for what she has done to Joshua.

Oliveros got 38.07 percent of votes, followed by Antonetthe Tismo of Team Sharon at 36.69 % and Justin Alva of Team Bamboo at 25.24%.  Oliveros is the first boy to win The Voice Kids after Lyca Gairanod in Season 1 and Elha Nympha in Season 2.
