The PRC will release the official list of passers for March 2015 Licensure Examination for Teachers (L.E.T) or more popularly known as Teachers Board Exam “ELEMENTARY LEVEL” in 27-36 working days after the last day of examination. According to source, PRC is not yet to announce the number of examinees for March 2015 LET but it was expected takers around 70,000-90,000 in their highly designated testing centers across the country.

The Board of Professional Teachers (BPT) and the PRC conducted the licensure examination last Sunday, March 29, 2015 in following testing centers nationwide: Manila (NCR), Baguio, Cagayan De Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, Catarman, Jolo Sulu, Bongao Tawi-tawi, Catanduanes, San Jose, Antique and Zamboanga.

Professional Regulatory Board of Professional Teachers is composed of Dr. Rosita L. Navarro as Chairman. Together with the board of members; Dr. Paz I. Lucido, Dr. Paraluman R. Giron and Dr. Nora M. Uy.

There are two parts of examination for teachers consist in Elementary: General Education (40%) and Professional Education (60%) and three (3) parts for Secondary: General Education (20%), Professional Education (40%) and Specialization (40%).

The exam covered the major areas of GE (English, Filipino, Mathematics, Science and Social Sciences subjects), PE (teaching profession, social dimensions of education, principles of teaching, education technology, curriculum development, facilitating learning, child and adolescent development, assessment of student learning, developmental reading, field study and practice teaching).
