Reggae singing sensation Kokoi Baldo amazed “The Voice Season 2 Panels” and turned 4 chairs officially moves to the next round of the competition by winning against Elmerjun Hilario, the two singers were paired by Coach Sarah Geronimo and selects the song of Mr. Big’s hit “To Be With You”.

Kokoi admits that his singing style would not fit the genre of the song and noted “Kinakabahan ako sa kalaban ko kasi kinakanta nya yon”. He felt threatened against the wedding singer Elmerjun Hilario which also plays several instrument, knowing that Hilario is already familiar of the song and actually performs it during wedding events.

After their performance comes to an end, Geronimo’s co-panels Leah Salonga and Apl De. Ap  give some comments in favor for Baldo admiring his talent and versatility of his voice, meanwhile Bamboo admires Hilario and complimented  how he maneuvers his voice to fit the genre of the music.

Coach Sarah admires the fantastic performance of Hilario and Baldo, but she chooses to retain the reggae singer on her team, she added she personally handpicked the song from Kokoi’s nature way of music to be fair to both singers.

“Pero para sa akin, ang talagang nangibabaw ay si Sir Kokoi,” Geronimo said.

Kokoi along with Jason Dy, Jason Fernandez and Monique Lualhati will advance to the next round with Coach Sarah still as their mentor.
