Meet the complete Team of Lea Salonga in “The Voice of the Philippines” this coming Saturday that will kick off its Battle Rounds. Each same team will sing-off to impress their coach in a bid to proceed to the Knockout Rounds, and then to the Live Shows, according to ABS-CBN news.
It was the first local edition to a popular singing competition in the country, which eliminated artists from a team to advance in second round to claim the title as “The Voice PH” season 2. Coach of each team finds a losing artist worth saving, they can also press the button to “steal” their favorite contestant.
If there is two or more coaches attempt to recruit the artist, as in Blind Auditions, they will get to choose which team she/he would like to join,
This coming weekend, Coaches Lea Salonga, Sarah Geronimo, Bamboo Mañalac and Apl.de.ap will field artist in the Battle Rounds.
Here are the complete 14 members of coach Lea Salonga. In recall, Lea Salonga won last season 1 with Mitoy Yonting to be crowned as The Voice PH season 1.
- Charles Catbagan
This 26-year-old radio personality from Guam, USA with his rendition of “One Last Cry.”
- Christelle Tiquis
A painting teacher and cake designer, 20-year-old Christelle Tiquis impressed Coach Lea Salonga, with an emotional take on “To Make You Feel My Love.”

Salonga was the lone coach who pressed her button for this 25-year-old nurse, who took the stage with “Who You Are”.
- Humfrey Nicasio
This 24-year-old from Cebu performed and with his take on “Happy.”
- Jem Cubil
The heartthrob singer, who is based in Cebu, once again had the audience shrieking during his Blind Auditions bid. Cubil sang “Use Somebody”.
- Julienne Caneda
This 21-year-old breadwinner from Bacolod which she sang “Hurt.”
- Karl Tanhueco
A professional singer, this 25-year-old from Pampanga convinced Salonga to press her button with his rendition of “All Of Me.
- Leah Patricio
This band vocalist from Manila had Geronimo and Salonga fighting over her after her soaring rendition of “I Will Always Love You”

A chemist by profession, this 25-year-old charmed with his classic take on “Hanggang” which had turn the red chair of Coach Lea Salonga.

This 24-year-old from Cebu got Salonga to press the buttons after she sang “We Can’t Stop.”

This 24-year-old convinced Salonga to turn by hitting the big notes of “You Are My Song”
