The controversial issue between the comedian actor, “It’s Showtime” co-host Vhong Navarro and Denise Millet Cornejo with Cedric Lee who are involved in the incident of Vhong Navarro’s attack in the BGC condominium Fort Bonifacio, Taguig on Wednesday night January 22, 2014 became the trending topic on social media and micro-blogging, Twitter.

Based on the report on social media, Denise Millet Cornejo claimed that she was the granddaughter of GMA Chairman and CEO Atty. Felipe L. Gozon as seen in the photo of Denise posted in her official account in Facebook where she put a caption in the photo that says, “with my lolo rod of GMA7 with lolo Att. gozum.”

The GMA Network is linked to the controversial issue of Vhong Navarro as Denise Millet Cornejo the principal alleged suspect who is responsible of Vhong Navarro’s assault has made a claimed that she is connected with the GMA Network as a granddaughter of Atty. Felipe L. Gozon.

With regards to this controversial issue, the GMA Network has released on official statement denying the claimed of Denise Millet Cornejo to her connection with GMA Chairman and CEO Atty. Felipe L. Gozon.

This is to clarify that the complainant involved in the Vhong Navarro incident is not related to GMA Chairman and CEO Atty. Felipe L. Gozon.

From the moment GMA News learned of the story, it sought the side of Vhong Navarro. Roño, his manager, gave GMA News a written statement, which was aired yesterday. Today, GMA News aired an interview with Navarro’s lawyer Atty Alma Mallonga. The report about the alleged attempted r*** was based on the blotter filed at the Investigative Section of the Southern Police District where Vhong Navarro was taken after the incident. Other news organizations also reported it.

Aside from claiming that she is a granddaughter of GMA Chairman and CEO Atty. Felipe L. Gozon, the mastermind of Vhong Navarro’s assault, Denise Millet Cornejo also claimed that she is a grandniece of the second president of GMA Network, Rod Cornejo who was in service to the GMA7 for 20-long-year, both claimed of Denise Millet Cornejo are refused by the GMA management.

The photo posted by Denise Millet Cornejo on her Instagram account featuring Att. Gozon in which the model made a basis of her claimed relationship with Gozon as seen in her caption posted in which she said “with my lolo rod of GMA7 with lolo Att. gozum.”

Before the GMA Network denies the claimed relationship of Denise Millet Cornejo that she is related to the big boss of GMA Network it has been trending in social media involving the GMA Network to the controversial issue of Vhong Navarro with the hastag #GMAPhilippinesWorstNetWork” that continue trending on Twitter up to this moment.
