In the coming weeks, as the education community awaits the release, the PRC’s website and other official channels will be the go-to sources for the latest information. The alphabetical list of passers will not only signify personal achievements but also contribute to the broader narrative of excellence in the teaching profession. The LET results are more than just names on a list; they represent a new cohort of educators ready to make a positive impact on the lives of students and contribute to the growth of the educational landscape.
The qualifiers for the September 2023 LET are individuals who achieved an overall rating of at least 75%, with no score falling below 50% in any of the subjects. This stringent criterion ensures that those who pass the licensure exam for teachers (LET) on the elementary level have demonstrated a comprehensive understanding of the required competencies.
Administered by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), the extensive LET took place on Sunday, September 24, 2023. Conducted across a network of at least 40 testing centers nationwide, including one in Bangkok, Thailand, the exam aimed to assess the candidates’ proficiency in various subjects essential for effective teaching.
The testing centers were strategically located in key cities such as Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga. Recognizing the significance of accessibility, the PRC also designated additional testing centers to cater to the substantial number of examinees. This approach aimed to alleviate the burden of distant travel and additional expenses for hopefuls and included locations such as Antique, Bacolod, Bayambang, Bohol, Catanduanes, Catarman, Cauayan, Digos, Dumaguete, General Santos, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, Kidapawan, Marinduque, Masbate, Mati, Occidental Mindoro, Oriental Mindoro, Palawan, Romblon, Sta. Cruz (Laguna), Tagum, Oroquieta, and Valencia (Bukidnon). This thoughtful expansion of testing centers underscored the PRC’s commitment to providing a fair and accessible platform for aspiring educators across the Philippines and even beyond its borders.
As per PRC Resolution No. 1589 series of 2022, the anticipated date for the release of the September 2023 LET board exam results is December 7, 2023 (Thursday), precisely 50 working days following the examination. However, it’s crucial to note that the release may occur earlier or later than the specified target, and such changes will be made without prior notice. Various factors contribute to this variability, including the total number of examinees, the impact of work disruptions caused by calamities or unforeseen events, and the intricacies associated with the evaluation process for pencil-based tests. As a result, candidates and stakeholders should stay vigilant for updates from the Professional Regulation Commission to stay informed about any adjustments to the release schedule.
