In the aforementioned viral video, the actress-TV personality was seen tapping the top of her birthday cake and smearing icing over the waiter who was carrying the cake.

Alex Gonzaga apologized to the waiter, described as “Kuya Allan,” and her husband, Lipa Councilor Mikee Morada, accepted his wife’s mistake but reassured the public that the actress realized she was wrong and had apologized.

Dani Barretto, a celebrity YouTuber who was an uploader of Alex Gonzaga’s viral cake video, has broken her silence on the matter.

She quickly removed the video clip she put on her Instagram Story, but many others were able to copy it, and it quickly spread on so many platforms.

Dani expressed that she was sorry for publishing the video clip. She expressed her regrets for hurting someone on her birthday. She insisted that it was not her aim, and that it was her biggest mistake to have triggered something she didn’t want.
