Arnold Clavio, a Saksi anchor, praised Alex Gonzaga’s humility and immediate apology for smearing icing on waiter Allan Crisostomo.
In the viral video, Alex is seen applying icing to Allan’s brow at her birthday party on January 15, 2023.
Arnold stated on Instagram yesterday, January 19, 2023, that Alex’s actions were a relief after being widely lambasted by netizens.
Arnold stated in his book “It takes a strong person to say sorry,’ says Anonymous in the “Tilamsik ni iGan” series.
“Nakakagaan ng loob ang naging mabilis na aksyon ng aktres na si Alex Gonzaga sa waiter na si Alex (Allan) Crisostomo.”
Following that, he detailed the events that produced uproar in the entertainment sector for a few days until the entire problem was resolved.
He stated, “Hindi nagustuhan ng marami ang ginawang pagpahid ni Gonzaga ng cake sa mukha ni Crisostomo habang bitbit niya ito. Nangyari ito sa kaarawan ng komedyante.
“Sa maikling pahayag na inilabas sa ABS-CBN News nitong Miyerkules, ibinunyag ng waiter na si Allan Crisostomo, na pumunta si Gonzaga sa kanyang pinapasukan noong Martes para humingi ng paumanhin sa ginawa nito sa kanya.
“Last January 17, 2023 around 6:30 PM nasa work po ako. Pumunta po si Ma’am Alex kung saan po ako nagwowork,’ kuwento ni Crisostomo. ‘Then nag apologize and nagsorry siya saken tapos konting kwentuhan at sinabi ko po sa kanya na ok na po yung nangyari. Ok na po kami,’ he said.
“Crisostomo also released a letter about what happened that was still written in his hand.
“In Gonzaga’s post on his social media account, ‘On my birthday, God taught me a hard and important lesson. Humility, kindness and better judgment.
‘I am truly sorry, Kuya Allan,’ Gonzaga added. “
‘To my family, I am sorry for causing you pain and embarrassment. I will rise from this a wiser and better person,’ he said.
Arnold went on to say that Alex’s willingness to accept his mistake and display humility was admirable. He noted that such occurrences end with everyone’s forgiveness, and that he hopes it will teach a lesson not just to Alex, but to all of us.
“Maraming salamat kay Ms. Gonzaga sa pag-amin sa kanyang pagkakamali at sa pagpapakumbaba na personal na humingi ng paumanhin kay Crisostomo,” Arnold continued.
“Lahat tayo ay dapat magkaroon ng aral sa nangyaring ito.
