The seasoned TV host and entertainment journalist shared a negative working relationship with TV host-vlogger Alex Gonzaga.
In Juicy, a now-defunct TV5 show focused on show business, Fermin and Gonzaga once collaborated. For two (2) years, they were a part of the previously stated show. IC Mendoza went along with them. On the set of their TV show, which was canceled in August 2012, Cristy referred to Alex as “Simang” because she always smirked.
Cristy revealed in an interview that there was a time when she felt bad for Alex’s makeup artist, who had to kneel on the floor to work on the actress while she was lying down.
“Nakakaawa ang make-up artist niyang si Noel na nakaluhod, nakahiga kasi siya habang nagpapa-make up! Abuso siya! The late Alex Gonzaga!” she said.
“Ang executive producer ang kinausap ko. Ipinatanggal ko yung higaan ni Alex. Hindi na niya nagamit yun. Nakakaawa ang make-up artist niya. May serye siya [Alex] nun kaya palagi siyang late sa Juicy,” she added.
In the midst of the controversy involving Alex and Dina Bonnevie, which has been the talk of the town lately, Cristy brought up Alex’s past. Many people think that Dina is the actress Alex is paying attention to in her podcast when she talks about the “artistang matanda” who yelled at her and left her traumatized.
In the meantime, Alex, whose real name is Catherine Cruz Gonzaga Morada, is viewed as one of the nation’s most well-liked celebrities. She is well-known on social media thanks to her own YouTube channel, which is among the most popular in the Philippines. The sister of the actress-host Toni Gonzaga debuted in show business in the ABS-CBN sitcom Let’s Go, playing the character of Alex, which also became her given name.
