Sharon Cuneta has urged netizens to put an end to the online chaos over a shopping incident in South Korea that was featured on her YouTube vlog.
In an unboxing video of the items she purchased from Prada and Louis Vuitton, the Megastar attempted to clear the air on the issue of being turned down by Hermes.
Sharon has previously stated that she is fine with what occurred and that she is aware that stores have protocols in place for admitting customers.
“Sinabi ko na sa Instagram, parang wala pong nakikinig, walang nagbabasa, kasi paulit-ulit, ang kulit-kulit,” she began. “Once and for all sabihin ko lang po—I know, of course I know, that you need an appointment with an Hermes boutique before you can go.”
Sharon stated that she was not upset about being denied entry to the Hermes store because she was only hoping to purchase a belt.
“Wala po akong loob sa Hermes, at lalo pong hindi ako nagwala sa galit kaya ako nag-shopping sa Louis Vuitton,” she explained.
Regarding the Pretty Woman clip that her editor inserted into the vlog, she stated that Sharonians found it cute and that it was not meant to offend anyone.
She also addressed those who assumed she expected VIP treatment while shopping.
“S’yempre alam ko na wala naman may kilala sa akin sa Korea kundi Pinoy din. So parang, why will you expect VIP treatment?” she said.
Sharon also stated that there was no discrimination in the incident because she is Asian, just like Koreans.
“Let’s forget about na. ‘Wag na natin silang istorbohin. Di ko alam bat lumaki ‘yun,” she said.
“Tigilan na natin ‘yung pagcocomment ‘yung sa Hermes at sa Vuitton at nananahimik ‘yung mga tindahan ginugulo natin, nakakahiya naman,”
