A Filipina Woman and her Daughter were Stabbėd to Dėath in Toronto

Last week, a 44-year-old Filipina and her 20-year-old daughter were stàbbed inside their car in Toronto.

It was around 3:30 p.m. On August 26, police responded to a stàbbing incident near Bathurst Street and Ellerslie Avenue.

The victims dìed in the hospital from their injurìes.

The fatalìties have been named as Elvie Sig-Od, and Angelica Sig-Od, both of Toronto.

Elvie’s previous husband, Godfrey Sig-od, is recognized to be the culprìt and is presently in jail. The suspect’s ethnicity has yet to be determined by police.

He appeared in court on the 27th of August, a day after the event. He faces two counts of second-degree mǔrder.

There was no instant information about the possible husband’s motivation.

The daughter was believed to be in college and aspiring to be a flight attendant.

Local pastor Marvin Delores established a GoFundMe campaign to assist the mother and girl, who he said had no relatives in the region. He stated that he want to gather donations in the community to assist in the return of their bodies.
