There are currently two Miss Eco International titleholders from the Philippines.
Kathleen Paton won the 2022 edition of the contest, which was held in Egypt on Thursday (Friday in the Philippines). She is the successor of Cynthia Thomalla, who was named Miss Eco International in 2018.
Candidates from Belgium, the United States of America, Spain, and Malaysia are among her runners-up.
Paton characterized herself as a “passionate advocate for mental health awareness and conserving the environment.”
Because of our geographical location, we receive an average of 20 typhoons and storms every year, inflicting damage wherever they hit. Scientists from all across the world believe that climate change has a significant influence on typhoons.
“That’s why my goal as Miss Eco Philippines is to motivate others to join this cause and educate them on how to save our world,” said the Boracay-born and reared beauty queen.
