Kapuso actor Raymond Gutierrez made the rounds on social media after users were talking about him knowing that his 37th birthday celebration on January 21, 2021 held at La Picara Restaurant at the Bonifacio Global City, Taguig resulted closure of the said restaurant for violating quarantine protocols.
The issue sparked when photos of Gutierrez during the party spread to different photo-sharing platform like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
According to the report, fellow party-goers of friends and relatives of the actor come together in the party but they did not observed proper social distancing and other guidelines of health protocols set by the IATF.
However, the camp of Gutierrez clarified that everyone joined the party underwent PCR test. But authorities said that the PCR test will not be used as permit despite its negative result.
The incident prompted Taguig City Mayor Lino Cayetano to issue official statement as immediate action against the violation in the part of the management of the said restaurant noting that that violation done by the establishment endangered the health and safety of their employees as well as the safety of their customers. Because the city officials don’t want to repeat the same violations, therefore the La Picara Restaurant will be closed.
Netizens were bashing the 37-year-old Pinoy Idol host because his action leads many employees loses their jobs.
