The issue about money donation of the actor John Regala during his hospitalization is making noise in the social media because of several showbiz personalities were allegedly involved into it.
At this time, the wife of the actor Chuckie Dreyfus, comes into the scene to clarify the issue that John Regala claimed he did not received money from the fund raising.
According to Aileen Dreyfus who took her social media account in Facebook to clarify the issue regarding the money raised for the actor. She said that the account of Aster Amoyo and Nadia Montenegro in the BDO turned out “zero balance” because they have already transferred to the personal account of John Regala in the Metrobank prior to the issue went viral in the internet.
“please Mr. Regala, stop making up stories. Magpagaling ka na lang and use the remaining cash donations that we deposited (kung meron pa) for your medications. Gastusin mo sa tama,” Aileen Dreyfus wrote on her social media account.
In the previous article, the husband of Aileen, Chuckie Dreyfus and Aster Amoyo issued statement regarding the issue. Amoyo said that all donations are properly recorded that reach to the amount of PHP300,000 including the $1,000 (PHP47,000) from John’s ex-wife Au Manansala-Hunt and all directly deposited to John’s personal account.
John Regala was admitted in the hospital at the National Kidney and Transplant Institute (NKTI) for several weeks. He was in a private room with personal refrigerator and television and a private toilet. He also has a private caregiver to nurse him.
