Patrick Ewing Confirmed He Has Tested Positive for Covid-19

Jamaican-American basketball coach Patrick Ewing, announces on Friday evening that he has tested positive for Covid-19, a deadly disease caused by the coronavirus.

Former New York Knicks center who is now coaching the Georgetown University men’s basketball team said “the virus is serious and should not be taken lightly,” he said.

Patrick Ewing, now the basketball coach at Georgetown, said on Friday that he had tested positive for the coronavirus.

The 57-year-old basketball legend also advised everyone to stay at home for safety and take care of yourselves and love ones, he added.

On his Twitter account, Ewing posted message to let his follower knows that he has tested positive and to make people aware of situation that the deadly coronavirus must not be taken for granted.

In his full text tweet reads…

“I want to share that I have tested positive for COVID-19. This virus is serious and should not be taken lightly. I want to encourage everyone to stay safe and take care of yourselves and your loved ones.”
