In Cebu City, a newborn baby boy was tested positive for the coronavirus(COVID-19) which makes him the youngest case of the respiratory disease.

According to the post, the newborn baby is now the youngest patient of COVID-19 in Central Visayas. Many are praying for the recovery of the baby.

Also, the experts believe that the infection does not happen while the baby was still inside the womb, instead, the moment the baby was born, the infection takes place rapidly.

Cebu City is one of the provinces in Central Visayas with confirmed cases of coronavirus pandemic.

As of the World Health Organization (WHO), the fight against the COVID-19 is going to be a long-term battle. So far, the Philippines has a total number of more than 6 thousand confirmed cases.

In just 24 hours, there are 82 confirmed cases of coronavirus recorded in Sitio Zapatera. The place is now considered as an infected place. The sudden increase in COVID-19 cases makes the place to put under a lockdown.

Recalling, the coronavirus was first recorded in Wuhan, China last year.
