President Rodrigo Duterte go live on Monday, April 6, 2020 to address the public concern especially regarding the update about the war against COVID-19 pandemic.
In the speech of President Duterte he explained how he use the government funds to sustain the needs of the poorest of the poor and ask private sector and rich men in the country to help the government in the financial aspect because he said that the government fund has a limit within the allocate budget knowing that there is no cash inflow during this time of COVID-19 crisis.
President Duterte also admitted that the only means to flatten the coronavirus is true the vaccine. But until now there is no assurance from medical experts and scientists where and when to have the vaccine or treatment of the deadly disease.
He also reiterated the importance of staying at home as the best option for the people to help the government war against the COVID-19.
In this video, he has indicated the plan of extending the lockdown up to the 30th day of April this month.
