Resident of Tayasan Negros Oriental expressed condolence to the late Councilor Hermie “Bebet” Cerna who died due to the coronavirus disease.
People of his town were so thankful to him for his truthful service in his duty of office as councilor.
According to report, the Municipality of Tayasan is set to suspend government offices on Monday and Tuesday to give honor to the late councilor.
According to the report, Councilor Hermie “Bebet” Cerna was identified by the Department of Health as Patient 36 who passed away at the age of 64 due to coronavirus disease.
Reportedly, Governor Roel Ragay Degamo of the province of Negros Oriental did not order to lockdown the province because of its discomfort effect to the public. And another reason according to the report of Aksyon Balita, his death could not only be attributed to COVID-19 because the patient was having a kidney transplant history that can also be the cause of death of Patient 36.
