President Rodrigo Roa Duterte confirmed another four (4) new coronavirus cases in the country.
The Philippine government headed by the Department of Health (DOH) is in the full battle mode fighting against the deadly COVID-19 that is fast spreading in the Philippines which started in the area of Luzon.
In the previous history of coronavirus in the country started last few months ago where health authorities recorded three (3) Chinese nationals. From there, two (2) of the suspected patients regain their normal health condition from the disease while the other one, the 44-year-old Chinese man who was admitted at San Lazaro Hospital did not survived.

Recently, the DOH made an official statement about the new coronavirus in the Philippines citing the two (2) new suspected all Filipino male patients.
Health Officials in the country alarmed after confirming that the 62-year-old man was infected via local transmission in the since that he has no indicated travel history from abroad. The health authorities alerted the public upon learning that the wife of the 62-year-old was also tested positive of COVID-19.
Following to the report of three (3) coronavirus cases in the country, the DOH revealed another four (4) new cases and reportedly summing up to a total of 10 as of March 9, 2020 in the morning time.
The following day after the DOH announces 10 confirmed cases, another new 10 COVID-19 confirmed cases added to the record making the total of 20 afternoon time of the same day.
Before the end of the day of March 9, President Rodrigo Duterte hold a press briefing. And according to the report on CNN, the president revealed another new four (4) individual who have tested positive of coronavirus making all the confirmed cases in the country totaled of 24 as of today.
According to statement of the President, the new 4 cases of coronavirus detected are from San Juan, West Crame, Sta. Maria, and Project 6 in Quezon City.
