In Dumangas, Iloilo City, the Poblador family complained against Rev. Fr. Juan Parreñas the parish priest of Dumangas Catholic Church for the unfair treatment rushing them to get out from the church.

According to the interview of the Bombo Radyo to Nelia Poblador, their family got a slot in the church for the burial of their father at 10:30 in the morning. She said that they come ahead of time at 10:00 a.m. but the priest arrived late for an hour.

Nelia told the reporter that according to her, the homily of Fr. Parreñas does not fit to the burial service of her father instead the priest delivered homily for a regular mass intended for the church goers.

She also said that after the mass, the family took picture as remembrance of their late father as normally did in the most occasions but they were shocked when Fr. Parreñas becomes upset forcing them to hurry and drive them out saying, “perwisyo ang ginahimo sang pamilya bangud may yara sng bunyag.”

The Bombo Radyo reporter was trying to reach Fr. Parreñas to get his side in fairness of him, but he refuses to answer the interview but leave a message that on Sunday after the Mass in the morning he will give his side regarding the complaint.
