In an episode of Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho features the story of a five-year-old girl identified as “Angel” in Lanao del Norte believed comes to life again after her burial for 3 days.

According to the father of Angel, Joseph Mabanay, on December 21, 2019 Angel played with a sweet Chili and come back home not feeling well. They rushed to the nearby hospital but the doctor pronounced Dead on Arrival.

Due to the lack of money for embalming the corpse, they immediately laid the dead 6-feet below the ground.

On December 25, 2019, 3 days after the burial, her mother dreamed that Angel is alive and asking help to her because she is thirsty and hungry.

Her mother dig the dead using the plate and they were both surprised that the body of the child was still fresh, smooth and odorless.

“Wala namang baho, presko ang katawan, malambot lahat ng mga paa, ang ulo malambot din,” Joseph said.

Because Joseph believes that Angel is alive, he gives Angel a glass of milk, and according to him Angel was able to consume 2 glasses of milk and they also change underwear because Angel was urinating.

Some of the folks in the area who have tried to check the pulse of Angel confirmed that it still palpitating.

However, authorities believed that the family has committed violation because the dead might bring epidemic to the village and harm the health of nearby residences.

PAO Forensic Director Dr. Erwin Erfe also confirmed that Angel is already dead.

Authorities were able to convince the family member to bury the dead.
