Maalaala Mo Kaya (MMK) Episode on May 20, 2017 features Dimples Romana as Teresa “Idai” Romero, who grows up in a poor and broken family.  Both her parents were relentless in working hard to provide their needs. Idai forced to work at a young age, taking over her mother’s responsibility. Idai starts to sell ice candies and local delicacies, so she can help her father feed her younger siblings.

As she grows, idai promises to herself that she will never let her future family suffers. Years later, Idai flies to Manila to work as a house helper. Idai meets Alfredo; she gets pregnant and starts her own family.

Years pass and Idai establishes her own family with Anthony, Rosalinda, Charlie and Christopher. Until one day, her youngest child Christopher abducted by Roma/Samina, a Muslim mother in Binondo, Manila.
