Almost Hundred Killed Of Car Bombings In Baghdad Iraq

Three series of separate car bombing attacks on Bagdhad Iraq was claimed by the Sunni terrorist group Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant also known as ISIS on Wednesday targeted the Shiites. It is the deadliest violence happened this year.

Leaving almost hundreds of people died and around 87 wounded after the explosion in an outdoor market in the Shiite Muslim neighborhood of Sadr City.  Later in the day, two separate car bombs in northern Baghdad killed at least 30 and injured 80 others.

Bombing

The first bomb exploded at a police station in the northwestern Kadhimiyah neighborhood which is home to an important Shiite shrine. While In the Jamea district of western Baghdad, another car bomb went off in the afternoon, killing at least 13 people, an interior ministry official and medics.

Dozens of angry people gathered at the scene of the bombing, blaming the government for the carnage.

“The state is in a conflict over (government positions) and the people are the victims,” said a man named Abu Ali. “The politicians are behind the explosion.

Abu Muntadhar echoed his anger. “The state is responsible for the bombings that hit civilians,” the local resident said. The politicians “should all get out”.
Major General Gary Volesky, the head of U.S ground forces in Iraq, described today’s deadly bombings as “desperate acts” by ISIS, which keeps losing territory it once controlled in Iraq.
