The presidential candidate Senator Grace Poe has making the social media a way to defend herself from the allegedly ‘she is not a natural-born Filipino’ that become a big hindrance for a higher office this coming election in May 2016, knowing that her citizenship is in big question.

The Senator Grace Poe account, there was shown many who had supported her, claiming that she is qualified and had been disagreeing that she is not qualified at all. Just when known that she is raised in separate petitions filed against her before the Senate Electoral Tribunal (SET) and the Commission on Election (Comelec).

Poe posted, “Ako po ay isang (I am a) natural-born Filipino citizen under the Philippine constitution, customary international law and domestic laws. This is the truth and I have nothing to hide.”

There were four legal eagles that continously supporting her and her arguments with the disqualification raps are former Comelec chairman Sixto Brillantes, former Senator Rene Saguisag, Retired Supreme Court Chief Justice Artemio Panganiban and lawyer Katrina Legarda.

Legarda quoted, “The courts cannot have jurisdiction over foreigners when it comes to adoption proceedings,”
