Rod Cornejo Supports His Grandniece “Deniece” in the Case Against Vhong Navarro.

The former big boss of GMA Network Rod Cornejo who is the grandfather of the model Deniece Cornejo finally broke silence and appeared in media to speak up his side as he was previously involved by his grandniece in the controversial issue by posting picture in social media that he appeared with her grandniece Deniece Cornejo.

Her 22-year-old grandniece instantly becomes a social media celebrity after Vhong Navarro has positively identified her as the mastermind in the mauling incident and extortion attempt with the businessman Cedric Lee and company that took place in her condo unit in Taguig City last January 22, 2014.

Rod Cornejo featured on the “Buzz ng Bayan” hosted by the veteran celebrity talk show Boy Abunda and publicly gave his statement to defend his grandniece and to reveal his relationship to the model Deniece Cornejo.

In a special episode of the celebrity talk show “In Search for the Truth,” Rod Cornejo told Boy Abunda on Sunday, February 2, 2014 that he was deeply affected and hurt every time his grandniece is being attacked with all criticisms and negative issues as he knew her how lovely and niece person she was.

Rod Cornejo admitted that he believes the rape claimed of her grandniece Deniece Cornejo against the comedian actor of Kapamilya Network Vhong Navarro and he will support her claims.

“Though her father is a seafarer, Deniece works hard to earn a living and she is not dependent on her father,” explained Rod Cornejo.
