The two principal suspects Denise Millet Cornejo and Cedric Lee of Vhong Navarros mauling last January 22, 2014 in the condominium unit in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig are planning to leave the country since the two are reportedly booked tickets bound for Singapore in spite of facing simultaneous cases.
The report is confirmed by the office of the Philippines Airlines (PAL) that the two Deniece Cornejo and Cedric Lee had booked a trip bound to Singapore via PAL flight PR503 which is scheduled to fly this coming February 6, 2014 at exactly 7:55 early in the morning.
However, the PAL management revealed that the booking reservation made by the two suspects of Navarros mauling was not accounted yet since there is not payment made for the said booking and based on the PAL airlines policy the reservation can only be confirmed once payment is made.
The Bureau of Immigration however said that Cedric Lee and Deniece Cornejo can still do leaving the country since the two are not included yet to the immigration watch list and their office did not receive a Hold Departure Order (HDO). Unless the Department of Justice issued order with signatory above the name of Secretary Leila de Lima, the Bureau of Immigration cannot hold anyone without including first to the immigration watch list.
Deniece Cornejo and Cedric Lee becomes the hot topic in social media after the two were positively identified by the comedian actor as the people behind his mauling in the condo unit of Deniece Cornejo in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig.
Vhong Navarro, on the other hand, filed charges against all identified suspects that include Deniece Cornejo and Cedric Lee in the case. The case filed by the actor includes physical injuries, grave threat, grave coercion, illegal arrest, serious illegal detention and blackmail.
