The latest movie of Star Cinema “Bride for Rent” featuring Kim Chiu and Xian Lim continues dominating the box office performance as the movie hits the highest earnings more than Php250-million in 13-day showing in all cinema nationwide.

“Maraming, maraming salamat po! Sobra! Thank you Papa God! Thank you sa lahat ng nanood. Sa lahat ng nakitawa and nakiiyak sa amin, maraming, maraming, maraming salamat po,” expressed the lead actress Kim Chiu on her Instagram account.

One of the highlights in the film is Roco’s (Xian Lim) search for a woman to pretend to be his wife in order to access and benefits his trust fund, he called for an audition. In a coincidence, Rocky (Kim Chui) who is desperate in search for a job landed to an audition sponsored by Rocco.

With all the effort of Rocky to retain her family from their rented home which is almost evicted due to the difficulty of financial constraints, she took up the role which soon spirals into a long-term action.

“Bride for Rent” is still showing cinemas nationwide. The movie is directed by Mae Czarina Cruz and written by Carmi Raymundo.

“Bride for Rent” also stars Pilita Corrales, Tirso Cruz III, Dennis Padilla, Matt Evans, Martin del Rosario and Empoy.
