Pageant supporters may now see previously unseen footage from the Miss Universe Philippines preliminary competition. Netizens may now get a closer peek at the MUPH preliminary rounds thanks to a behind-the-scenes video shared by the organization on their official Instagram account.
When questioned what the South Sea pearl represented to each of them, winners Michelle Dee and Pauline Amelinckx delighted viewers with their responses.
“Well the South Sea pearl is an amazing thing and I think it can actually represent every Filipino. For me, my pageant journey, for every time that I have joined, I have discovered something new about myself, something beautiful,” Dee stated.
“And perfection takes time. And just like the South Sea pearl, it takes months, if not years to perfect that. And for every Filipina, we embody this kind of ambiance and this kind of perfection that we should really be proud to show the world,” she continued.
