House Speaker Romualdez Reveals Congressman Arnie Teves Called Him

Congressman Arnie Teves called the House Speaker and stated his concern about returning home.

Congressman Arnie Teves is one of the individuals accused to the ass@ssination of Negros Oriental Governor Roel Degamo. The suspected mastermind of the attack against the Governor has been tagged to the Negros Oriental 3rd District Representative.

At the moment, Cong. Arnie Teves is now in the United States. His travel clearance ran out on March 9, yet he has yet to come home. According to an ABS-CBN News report, House Speaker Martin Romualdez verified the Congressman phoned him and conveyed his concern.

House Speaker Romualdez stated that Cong. Arnie Teves is concerned about his and his family’s safety. The Speaker stated that the call came from “an undetermined location” in the country where he is today.

“I assured him that the Speaker… will exert all efforts to ensure the personal safety of all Members. In fact, I have ordered the House Sergeant-at-Arms to coordinate with law enforcement agencies and prepare appropriate security arrangements for his return,” Romualdez stated.
