Twitter users criticize Vice Ganda for allegedly treating Karylle disrespectfully.

Were some of his jokes a little too far?

Some Twitter users who watched the most recent episode of It’s Showtime noticed something about how Karylle is handled in the show. Karylle has been a member of the noontime show for over a decade, and many people have attested to her excellent nature.

However, the most recent episode prompted several netizens to criticize Vice Ganda. The major star of the show is the comic superstar, and he’s always been the one seemingly carrying the entire show because of his strong attitude toward entertaining their live and online fans.

Following the recent episode, Karylle admirers took to social media to express their displeasure with Vice’s treatment of Karylle. They didn’t approve of his “pambabara” to her.

In a certain section, Karylle jested to Vice, referring to Vhong Navarro: “Vice, may request si Vhongskie. Kasi last time nagre-rehearse siya sa umaga, tapos binigay mo sa iba yung kanta niya.”

“Anong problema natin, Karylle?” Vice answered.

“Hindi, natatawa lang kami kasi isang buwan, pinraktis daw niya.” Karylle said.

When speaking with Navarro, Vice said, “O, e, di sana kinanta mo.”

Karylle’s efforts did not end there. “Sa bawat sulok daw ng bahay niya pinraktis niya.” she pressed the conversation.

“Okay na yan, Karylle,” Vice said, clearly done with it.

Many netizens were outraged, which drew the attention of former Showtime personality Kuya Kim Atienza. Kuya Kim remarked on Twitter, “I adore you, Karylle,” adding that Karylle is “one of the sweetest people” he knows in entertainment. She never, ever speaks poorly to anybody.
