The Darna cast members are willing to appear in GL or girl’s love television shows.

After fans began to ship them, this happened. Fandoms like “Darlentina” and “JaneNella” were even created as a result of their appearances in the popular Kapamilya series.

The public is anticipating the “kilig” moments of the two stars in the mentioned Kapamilya series, which is due to end this month, in addition to the action-packed and dramatic scenes.

Despite the contradictions between their characters, Darna and Valentina, they have a sizable fan base that includes people who identify as LGBTQIA+ and who passionately support the television series.

Jane and Janella were questioned about the success of their “tandem” and whether they would produce a girls’ love series or movie as a follow-up to their team-up during the “Darna” finale press conference that took place yesterday.

Jane stated that she did not think that their tandem would ultimately succeed. Janella stated that she did anticipate that they would gain the support of the LGBTQ community.

When asked if she would like to work on a GL project with Jane, Janella responded, “Of course, why not?”. Jane, on the other hand, explained: “Why not? Pero sana maganda talaga ‘yung story. Kasi it’s all about the craft din naman, ‘di ba kasi artist din kami. So challenge din ‘yun sa amin, if ever.”

The LGBTQIA+ community would be pleased, in Janella’s opinion, if she and Jane collaborated on a lesbian series.
